Recursive EPLF Format AKA EPLF in "ls -l . $(find * -type d)" format

and so on.. note that the example is not symlinked and the unique identifiers really should be unique, except if the files are identical. Which they are. Oh well.

A CRC32 checksum is suggested as identifier. But it's problably not sent in the when a slave registers.
